We made this big mistake when we built our eMarketplace. We never thought about SEO, mobile optimization, etc. We only built web applications and it is not mobile-optimized. When we tried to do the on-page SEO and found that we had a big no for Mobile mobile-friendly website.

So make sure your website is mobile-friendly.

Make sure your website URL is structured. I have provided the below example.

Yourwebsite.com/category-name/Productname

Note: Make sure you have set up the landing pages correctly.

5. Setting up the Category page:

Setting up your category page is very important because it has all the products listed on a particular category.

To give an example of this I have searched "t shirt for men" and the first result is from Myntra.

So we gonna break down Myntra's Category page.

Here is a link for your reference. https://www.myntra.com/men-tshirts

When I searched the keywords like "t shirt", "tshirt", and t-shirt" on the above-mentioned page there were around 130 keywords.

As you can notice, They mentioned the keyword "T-shirt" in all the products and that's the result it showed 130 keywords.

Apart from that there is a blog with 1000 keywords about T shirt, The same has been followed by Ajio and flipkart.

5. Product Description:

Focus on the Product page SEO for each product your upload. Do not copy-paste the product description from other websites. Google will penalize plagiarized content. Additionally, you can merge your primary keyword + product name,

SEO for e-commerce product pages plays a crucial role in generating organic traffic

Also, make sure you use bullet points to make it readable.

6. Longtail keywords:

You should not focus on Highly competitive keywords. You should focus on low-competitive keywords which are longtail keywords.
